Partnership Opportunities with the OU
You will now be well aware that two new routes into teaching have been developed, with funding from Welsh Government, by The Open University and schools across Wales. The salaried and part-time programmes will commence in October 2020, with an initial pilot secondary Science PGCE commencing in April 2020. These routes will combine a distance learning platform with school based work placements and teacher practice development activities.
The innovative Open University ITE partnership delivering newly accredited, world leading Employment Based and Part Time alternative routes into teaching are now seeking Primary and Secondary Schools from all over Wales to join this exciting partnership.
