Estyn monitoring visit
ERW welcomes the monitoring report from the recent Estyn monitoring visit. It is very encouraging that Estyn have agreed with ERW’s self-evaluation and acknowledge the positive steps already taken by the region to respond to current challenges. Prior to the Estyn monitoring visit the ERW Joint Committee had instructed the lead chief executive, section 151 officer and managing director to establish a programme team to clarify the respective roles and accountabilities of the local authorities and region in relation to all school improvement functions and services. ERW and its Local Authorities are committed to securing an improved delivery of school improvement for all of its schools.
