Draft Curriculum for Wales 2022 – Invitation to Engagement Events
The draft Curriculum for Wales 2022 is now available. Every practitioner in Wales should have the opportunity to explore it and offer feedback.
The Welsh Government are publishing a series of documents that make up the framework for schools to design their own curriculum.
- An overview of the new Curriculum
- 6 x Area of Learning and Experience documents, which include
- What Matters statements
- Achievement Outcomes
- ‘Assessment Arrangements: Proposals from September 2022’.
We have arranged a series of events for you to hear about the Curriculum for Wales 2022 from those who have been involved in its development and to discuss its implications for you. The aim has been to make them as convenient as possible for you to attend.
Please extend the invitation to join an event to your whole school community, including teaching assistants and Governors to find out more about the exciting new curriculum and make your voice heard.
The attached document outlines each of the organised events with dates for your diary. Invitations to register will follow shortly.

If you aren’t able to attend, you can still explore the curriculum online and provide feedback on Hwb.
