Closing the Gap
Speakers from across the region came along to share their good practice at ERW’s first Closing the Gap event on Friday 24th November.
This was a full day of workshops and presentations to a diverse range of educators from across the sector.
The purpose of the day was to introduce new ideas and strategies in closing the gap in attainment between various groups of learners including boys and girls and FSM and Non-FSM.
The feedback from the day reflected the positivity and enthusiasm of the contributors. Thank you to all those who attended and to those who presented including: Clwyd Primary School, Cefn Hengoed, Pembroke School, Ysgol Bae Baglan and the Children’s Commissioner for Wales.
